Monique E. Jackson,

Monique Jackson is a Speech and Language Pathologist with a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also the author of The Memory Journal ©. 

Monique began her career working for one the largest home health agencies in the United States. With this agency, she specialized in stroke recovery as well as diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders.

As the primary caregiver for her father who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury, Monique has a passion for working with adults looking to improve their functional independence, functional communication, and/or to return to work.

Monique lives by the famous quote by William Arthur Ward “Adversity causes some to break and others to break records”. As a person who stutters, Monique turned her challenges into her passion.

Each therapy session with Monique focuses on working through plateaus, around roadblocks, and implementing strategies where needed to ensure the highest quality of life possible. Monique is always up-to-date with the latest advances in the field of speech and language pathology by participating in continuing medical education programs.
